The Managing Director of Premium 89.9FM, Diamond Lady Maureen Aniekan Umanah FRPA, has been appointed acting Chairman of National Guid of Private broadcast Managers in Akwa Ibom State, effective immediately.
In a letter signed by The National President of the Guild of Private Broadcast Managers in Nigeria Amb.Patrick Uzoyi Peters, JP, MNGRN stated that the appointment is in recognition of Mrs. Umanah’s outstanding contributions, leadership skills, and dedication to
the growth and development of the Guild.
As Acting State Chairman, Mrs.Maureen Umanah FRPA, will be responsible for leading the Akwa Ibom Chapter,
promoting the interests of the Guild, and upholding its values and principles.
Mrs. Umanah is an accomplished professional leader in the Media & Advertising industry in Nigeria with over 20 years of experience and a Fellow of Registered Practitioners of Advertising, (FRPA).

Managing Director of Executive Options Media Limited, pioneered the most reputable “Brand as King”
awards in 2008 which promotes innovation and value addition in the advertising industry, co-initiator of the Billboard Word Magazine, the Editor-in-Chief of a widely read intermarketing magazine which featured OOH media to inform,
educate and promote advertising business in Nigeria.
She started her career at Expressions Magazine and later moved to Quality Magazine, then
Newswatch magazine, where she worked as a Media and Advertising Officer later served
at Allban Group as Marketing Manager before her present engagement into private practice from 2004.
Mrs. Maureen Umanah FRPA holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Sciences and a Post Graduate
Diploma in Marketing and Advertising, She is a Registered Practitioner of Advertising (rpa)
APCON, and she has over the years attended several courses, seminars and conferences in
marketing and communications locally and internationally. She is a fellow, Advertisers practitioners of Nigeria.
