Tr+ged struck in Latina, Italy, as 27-year-old Nigerian woman Patricia Masithela was fatally att+cked by a pack of starving dogs on Monday night.
The incident occurred at an abandoned villa in the Lazio region while Patricia was visiting a male acquaintance. According to reports, she was unaware her friend was not present at the villa.
Her screams during the att+ck alerted neighbors, who discovered her critically inj¥red, lying in a pool of bl+od with severe wo¥nds across her body.
Police intervened by sh@oting two of the dogs to enable emergency responders to reach Patricia, while the remaining dogs fled after the g¥nfire. Despite being rushed to Santa Maria Goretti Hospital, Patricia succumbed to her inj¥ries due to severe bl+od loss.
Patricia, who had recently moved to Lazio from Nigeria, was a devoted mother to a five-year-old daughter. Her tr+gic d+ath has left family and friends devastated.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances that led to the presence of the starving dogs in the area.
