…targets low income earners

A new micro insurance firm, New Dawn Micro Insurance Ltd, has announced its presence in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital with a promise to offer excellent service and delivering robust returns to stakeholders.
In a media chat held Wednesday at the Watbridge Hotels & Suites, the Managing Director/CEO of the insurance company, Mr. Inemesit Ekanem explained that the New Dawn Micro Insurance Ltd founded in 2022 with its headquarters in Uyo is set to commence business in 2024 and its dedicated to transforming the landscape of financial protection for low income earners in Akwa Ibom.
Briefing the press, the Managing Director, Mr. Ekanem flanked by other management staff hinted that; “New Dawn Micro Insurance is a registered insurance firm, registered to operate in Akwa Ibom State, with plans to extend to other parts of the country later on”.
“We decided to come to introduce ourselves to let the financially excluded (low income earners) know about our existence”.
He listed the products and services offered by the insurance firm to include, New Dawn Property and Shop Protection Plan, designed to provide protection against loses emanating from fire, lighting and limited explosions, also designed to indemnify policy holders against losses arising from theft occasioned by forcible and violent entry or exit or any attempt of threat.
Others include, New Dawn Wheelers Policy, designed to provide indemnity for loss or damage to Keke/Motorcycle and compensate for death or bodily injury to riders in events of road traffic accident, New Dawn Credit Life Policy, New Dawn Group and Personal Accident Plan, New Dawn Credit Life, new Dawn target Savings Plan and lots more.
The MD urged members of the public to approach their office located at No2 Udo Udoma Avenue, opposite AKBC to avail themselves of the wide range of customer services provided by the insurance company.
Fielding questions from newsmen, the MD assured that the New Dawn Micro Insurance Ltd has a solid capital base, and would be making use of social Media marketing, SMS messages and exploring the media to reach out to customers .
“Our customer service provision is going to be 24hrs. We have a dedicated number that you can call at any time. When we finish in Aks space we are going to expand to neighboring states. The long term plan is to go national”
Also speaking, the Head of technical, Angela Oghenekevwe Omoyowirin assured that claims are processed and payment are made within 24hrs.
“ We ensure claims payment don’t go beyond 24hrs”.
