An Essien Udim born businessman and philanthropist, Surv. Uduak Nathan, has described Governor Umo Eno as God’s gift to Akwa Ibom at a time like this.
In a chat with newsmen, Surveyor Nathan who is a former Dean of Supervisors in Essien Udim Local Government Area and currently, the Managing Director/CEO of MEKDUAK Limited, is excited at the remarkable achievements recorded by the Governor within a space of one year in office.
He particularly praised the Governor’s ARISE AGENDA, and listed his scorecard in the areas of roads infrastructure, repositioning the educational sector, agricultural revolution, mass housing for Civil servants and compassionate homes for the poor, tourism development, entreprenurial development, sustenance of peace and security and running a government of inclusivity, as worthy of commendation.
Surveyor Nathan who hails from Ikot Umo Essien Village in Essien Udim, used the opportunity to thank the Governor for awarding the contract and flagging off the construction of the 16km Midim Atan/Ikot Inyang Udo/Ikot Akpan/ Etok Uruk Essiet, Ikot Imonte Road which connects Essien Udim and Etim-Ekpo, as well as the St. Ignatius Model Primary School project in Ukana Iba, Essien Udim.
Surveyor Uduak whose company is handling the Model School Project, expressed optimism that with the milestones recorded in almost every sector of the State’s economy under one year of his administration, more milestones would be recorded by the time he would have completed his first term and even more giant feat would attained in his second term.
In a congratulatory message to the administration, Surv. Nathan prayed God to grant the Governor, his Deputy and members of his team good health, long life and the grace and enablement to meet the yearnings and aspiration of Akwa Ibom people.
