The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Mrs. Grace Akpan, has commended Governor Umo Eno for his exceptional leadership and commitment to the welfare of civil servants in Akwa Ibom State. This praise came during a congratulatory visit from the Update Team Members of Update Akwa Ibom in the Ministry of Information.
Speaking during the visit in her office, Mrs. Akpan specifically highlighted Governor Eno’s notable achievements, including the construction of Arise Compassionate homes, the donation of houses to civil servants, and the recent distribution of SUV vehicles to Permanent Secretaries in the state. She acknowledged the governor’s efforts with a standing ovation, expressing her deepest gratitude for his kindness and generosity.
As one of the beneficiaries of the governor’s benevolence, Mrs. Akpan assured that the Permanent Secretaries would reciprocate with unwavering loyalty, dedication, and commitment to supporting the governor’s administration. She also promised that the entire civil service would rally behind him, praying for God’s blessings upon the governor, his administration, his family, and future generations.
Mrs. Akpan’s heartfelt appreciation was evident as she declared, “I am so proud of you, I owe you my faithfulness, I owe you my loyalty anytime, my dear Governor, your generation is blessed for this singular act.” Her words echoed the sentiments of many civil servants who have benefited from Governor Eno’s policies.
The Permanent Secretary’s commendation is a testament to Governor Eno’s tireless efforts to improve the lives of Akwa Ibom State’s citizens, particularly its civil servants.
