…Gets Royal Blessings from Paramount Ruler, storms Ekpenyong, Adiasim Wards
The 2024 EnoAbasi Campaign Organisation of the Essien Udim PDP Chairmanship Candidate, Engr Enobong Patrick on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, kicked off the Ward campaigns with a visit to the Palace of the Akwa Akuku Annang 1 and Paramount Ruler of Essien Udim LGA, His Royal Majesty, Akwa Akuku Cosmas Akpan, in Ekpenyong Atai, Essien Udim LGA, where he pledged his commitment to providing leadership that will sustain the unity, maintain the prevailing peace, accelerate entrepreneurial development and small and medium enterprise in the Local Government Area.
The Chairmanship hopeful said as a grandson of Ekpenyong Clan with visible evidence of humanitarian interventions in the community, he is confident of securing 100% of votes from his Grandparents come October 5, 2024.
“I cannot campaign in my grandparents domain. My 100% vote margin in Ekpenyong Clan is guaranteed. My track record speaks for itself. I have an impact in Ekpenyong community. Be rest assured that with your votes and support, I will serve you with peace, unity, progress and development as the building blocks”.
He promised to collaborate with Governor Umo Eno to attract development to Essien Udim as the Governor’s Arise Agenda is all about Rural development which is also the focal point of the Local Government system.
The PDP Chairmanship Candidate announced to Ekpenyong people that already a Technical Committee had earlier visited the community on a Needs Assessment Tour of Ekpenyong Ward 1 and 2 and a working document under his Phase 1 of projects to be executed in the community in place which his administration will implement once elected into office.
In Ekpenyong Ward 1, the Political Leader and Commissioner for Power, Engr Cammilus Umoh, assured both the candidate and the PDP of the unalloyed support and solidarity of Ekpenyong people come October 5th and beyond.
Similarly, in Ekpenyong Ward 2, the Political Leader, Hon Peter Isobara, assured the PDP of a landslide victory at the polls and pledged the support of the Ward to Engr Patrick’s chairmanship aspiration.
Addressing the rally in Adiasim, the Political Leader and Deputy Chairman of Caucus, Engr Oliver Ebong, noted with delight the emergence of Engr Enobong Patrick as the PDP Chairmanship candidate from Odoro Ikot Ward 2 and Mrs Susana Nyoyoko from Adiasim Ward as Vice Chairmanship candidate, stating that by virtue of his Ward producing Engr Patrick’s running mate, the October 5, 2024 Chairmanship election is personal to him which explains is why he has taken over the task of mobilizing Adiasim people towards ensuring victory for the PDP.
On his part, the Chairmanship candidate, Engr Enobong Patrick assured the people of Adiasim that with him as an engineer and their Political Leader as his senior professional colleague, development and dividends of democracy is guaranteed, and promised not to disappoint them.
Also speaking, the PDP Vice Chairmanship candidate, Mrs Susana Nyoyoko, said Adiasim Ward view the October 5, 2024 polls as their project and as such, the PDP should expect an overwhelming majority of votes as their way of expressing gratitude and appreciation to the party for choosing her as the running mate and the numerous developmental strides of the PDP in Adiasim since 1999, submitting that Adiasim is PDP in totality.
The campaign train continues on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, with a visit to Ukana East Clan Council, Ukana East Ward I, Ukana East Ward II, Ikpe Annang Clan Council and Ikpe.
