The EFCC wants the court to punish Yahaya Bello’s lawyers.
They had undertaken to produce Bello
But they came again without him
The EFCC lawyers told the court to capture the SAN in court for Bello and use him to teach the others a lesson
But the SAN is begging
He said he isn’t the lead lawyer
And shouldn’t be punished for something he didn’t commit
He said the EFCC knows that he isn’t the lead lawyer
He said it was the duty of the EFCC to execute the warrant of arrest
He said he was no longer interested in the case
He said he was infact withdrawing from it
But
The EFCC told the judge to catch the bird at hand and that a bird at hand is worth more than hundreds in the bush.
The EFCC said the judge shouldn’t allow him withdraw
The judge then adjourned the case to 17th July in order to rule if the lawyers will be punished.
