The Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria (CRAN), Akwa Ibom State branch, has officially welcomed CP Baba Azare as the 34th Commissioner of Police in the state.
In a statement released by the association, members expressed their confidence in CP Azare’s ability to maintain the existing peace and security in Akwa Ibom while also building on the achievements of his predecessors. The association acknowledged the wealth of experience CP Azare brings to the role, having served in various capacities across the country.
CRAN emphasized its commitment to working collaboratively with the Commissioner and the Akwa Ibom State Police Command to ensure accurate reporting and to promote a strong partnership between the police and the public.
CP Baba Azare, in his inaugural remarks, assured the people of Akwa Ibom of his dedication to enhancing security, fostering community trust, and upholding justice. His leadership is expected to bolster ongoing efforts to tackle crime and strengthen law enforcement in the state.
The Crime Reporters Association reaffirmed its role as a bridge between law enforcement and the public, pledging full support for CP Azare’s vision for a safer Akwa Ibom.
