Nollywood icon, Amaechi Muonagor, passes away at 61 due to complications from kidney issues, diabetes, and stroke.
In 2023, he suffered a stroke, resulting in partial paralysis of his left leg, and since then, he underwent weekly dialysis and physiotherapy to address the effects of the stroke.
His demise follows his recent plea for financial support on social media to fund a kidney transplant.
Renowned for his role in “Aki and Paw Paw” as the father of mischievous young boys, Muonagor leaves behind his wife, Hope Chikodi Muonagor, and their children.
