…Keys into the Education Component of ARISE Agenda
In a bid to enhance the learning experience and academic performance of pupils, Mrs. Nsikak-Abasi Orok, Clerk of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, has donated educational materials to Government Primary Mbiatok Itam in Itu Local Government Area.
The donation, made on Friday, marks the continuation of Mrs. Orok’s Educational Support Scheme AESS to schools, which provides essential resources to students at the beginning of every academic session.
Accompanied by her husband, Dr. Nam-Okuo Orok, Mrs. Orok handed over the materials, including 2,604 Exercise books, 300 school bags, and other stationery, to the school’s Head Mistress, Mrs. Eno U. Udoh.
“We appreciate this support,” Mrs. Udoh said. “These materials will greatly benefit our students, improve their academic performance, and motivate them to learn.”
Eteidung Ndiyong Okukim, village Head of Mbiatok Itam, also thanked Mrs. Orok and her family for their generosity.
“Your donation has made a significant impact on our community,” Eteidung Okukim said. “You are investing in the future of our children and the development of our state.”
Mrs. Orok’s educational scheme aligns with the state government’s ARISE Agenda, championed by Governor Pastor Umo Eno, aiming to improve education, healthcare, infrastructure, and economic development in Akwa Ibom State.
“This donation demonstrates my commitment to education and the well-being of our children,” Mrs. Orok said. “I believe that every child deserves access to quality education and resources.”
The pupils and teachers of Government Primary Mbiatok Itam expressed gratitude to Mrs. Orok, promising to make the best use of the donated materials.
