AKAKA EXITS SERVICE AMIDST POMP AND CHEERS

Earlier today, staff of the Hospitals Management Board gathered to bid farewell to the Director, Allied Health Services, Mr. Christopher Akaka as he exited the service after meritorious years of dedicated service.

The Permanent Secretary, Dr Abraham Inyangudo, represented by the Director of Admin& Supplies, Mr. Ikpe Effiong joined other attendees at the farewell event to pay tributes to the outgoing Director. They took turns to praise him as a visionary leader, a dedicated and hard working individual whose unwavering commitment inspired countless others.

Dr Inyangudo further described him as a seasoned professional who consistently stood up for what is right. He wished him a retirement full of God’s abundant love and guidance.

Setting the tone for the event, the newly appointed Director, Engr Benjamin Udoh, extended a warm welcome to all attendees and pledged to uphold the good legacies his predecessor has established. He noted that the event was the first of its kind and that the immediate past Director was deserving of every accolade he received.

Mr Akaka expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Permanent Secretary and the entire staff of the Board for their recognition, attributing his successes to God and the collective efforts of his colleagues.

The event’s highlights included the presentation of cash gifts to the outgoing Director, a ceremonial cake-cutting and sincere prayers offered to God on his behalf.

In attendance were family members, Directors and staff of the board.
