Chief Ubongabasi Jacob Celebrates Arrival of Baby Girl with Thanksgiving Service

Friends, business and political associates on Sunday 11th March, 2025 joined Chief Ubongabasi Jacob and family at the Grooves Memorial Methodist Church, Ikot Ekpene to appreciate God for his faithfulness and the gift of a bouncing Baby girl, Little Miss. Vine Mmokutabasi Jacob who arrived the family after six years of waiting.

While delivering his thanksgiving speech, Father of little Princess Vine, Chief Ubongabasi who is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of First Fruits Foundation told the church that he was excited that God has visited the family with a child after six years of marriage.

In appreciation of God’s faithfulness, Chief Ubongabasi announced a donation of N1million in support of the church building project.

His Wife, Mrs. Jacob, who summarized her joy with songs of praises to God, thanked the husband for standing by her while they were waiting for God’s visitation.

In a homily, the Cleric admonished Christians to always ask God for the grace to overcome temptations on life’s journey.

Guests were later treated to a reception party at the Ati Annang Secretariat in Ikot Ekpene.

Dignitaries that graced the event include, the State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Elder. Aniekan Akpan, Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Information, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Umanah and Wife, Maureen, former Commissioner for Environment, and Political Leader of Otoro-Abak, Barr. Joe Ukpong among several others.

Chief. Ubongabasi, a business man and philantropist is also a Chieftain of the PDP in Otoro Ward 3 of Abak Local Government Area.
