The Essien Udim PDP Chairmanship Candidate in the 2024 Local Government Election, Engr Enobong Partick is set to hold a Grand Empowerment Programme for his supporters.
A statement personally signed by Engr Enobong and made available to newsmen reveals that the empowerment programme is scheduled to hold on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at his private residence in Ikot Ekpene by 12 noon.
According to the Essien Udim born, University of Uyo trained Engineer, his decision to empower his supporters and Essien Udim Youths is in fulfillment of the promise he made to his supporters that he will not abandon them despite the outcome of the election in the area.
He noted that his empowerment scheme is also in line with his personal philosophy of developing people, building capacity and empowering Small and Medium Businesses to achieve sustainability and profitability as a means to creating employment and generating wealth for Essien Udim people, taking a cue from his Boss, the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno whose Arise Agenda is all about empowerment of rural dwellers and helping small businesses to grow.
According to Engr Enobong, the Empowerment Programme will feature the distribution of 600 Bags of Rice, donation of 15 Sewing Machines, 14 Hair Dryers, 20 Barbing Set, ₦100,000.00 Business Support Grant to 130 beneficiaries, Scholarship to seven students in tertiary institutions, and donation of 13 set of Cassava Grinding Machines to beneficiaries.
