REP EMMANUEL UKPONG-UDO RELEASES N10MILLION FOR MACAIRE SCHOLARSHIP BENEFICIARIES
In a continued commitment to fostering education and human capital development, Rep. Emmanuel Ukpong-Udo has released the sum of Ten Million Naira (N10 million) for the 120 beneficiaries of the Macaire Scholarship Scheme in Ikono-Ini Federal Constituency. This funding will cover scholarships for the 2025 academic session.
The Macaire Scholarship Scheme is one of the flagship initiatives of Rep. Ukpong-udo, providing financial aid to deserving indigent students from Ikono-Ini Federal Constituency since its inception. This program underscores his belief in the transformative power of education as a tool for personal and community development.
Speaking about the initiative, Rep. Ukpong-Udo reiterated his unwavering dedication to education as a tool for societal transformation: “Education is the bedrock of development, and I am committed to investing in the future of our constituency by ensuring that no student is left behind due to financial constraints. The Scholarship Scheme is a testament to our shared vision of progress and opportunity for all.”
Disbursement of funds will commence on Monday, January 6, 2025, to the 120 beneficiaries, comprising both undergraduate students and secondary school scholars, ensuring timely access to resources as students prepare for their academic activities.
