The Akwa Ibom State Government, led by Governor Umo Eno, kicked off a 3-day Exco Ministerial Briefings/End of Year Review event at the Government House in Uyo.
The theme for this year’s event is “Highlighting Achievements, Signposting the Future,” focusing on evaluating the government’s achievements, assessing significant projects, identifying potential gaps, and proposing solutions.
The event aims to ensure that the government’s targeted goals align with the A.R.I.S.E Agenda.
The first day of the event will include presentations from various key officials, such as the Chairman of Ibom Deep Sea Port, Commissioners for Works & Fire Service, Economic Development, Lands and Town Planning, and an Interactive Session with the Executive Assistant/Chief Delivery Advisor to the Governor.
The Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, expressed his appreciation for the initiative, emphasizing the importance of a bottom-top approach to governance in meeting citizens’ needs and aspirations.
