Health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, not just the absence of disease or illness. It encompasses the body’s optimal functioning and resilience against health issues.

Well-being refers to the overall experience of life satisfaction, happiness, and fulfillment, involving emotional, social, and physical aspects. It includes having positive mental health, managing stress effectively, maintaining good relationships, and engaging in activities that foster purpose and joy.

Together, health and well-being represent a holistic approach to living a balanced and fulfilling life.

I just finished my 1hr session for the month of October with experts from the Nigerian jubilee fellowship program (njfp) coordinators in partnership with the United Nations with fellows.

I’m also a fellow in this program. How did I join this program I saw a link just like empower program back then, and I applied. Upon application I went through rigorous process , exams, interview and so on, at some point would want to feel discouraged, but I made a decision to finish through and one day i got a mail that i was successful with congratulations  so I got involved. The benefits and opportunities still counting.

While completing  that long process of Examination and interviews, I got a CERTIFICATE which is well known sponsored “jobberman soft skills”. Soft skills are increasingly becoming the hard skills of today’s workforce. It’s just not enough to be highly trained in technical skills, without developing the interpersonal and relationship-building skills that help people to communicate and collaborate effectively.

While your technical skills may get your foot in the door, your people skills are what open most.  since then it has been wonderful going forward. So for this months Zoom session I have learnt a lot about HEALTH AND WELL-BEING.

WHY STAY PHYSICALLY HEALTHY & FIT?

Okay, It enhances immunity and improves overall health by strengthening the heart, lungs, and muscles, reducing the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, and certain cancers.

It increases stamina and energy, allowing you to perform daily tasks more efficiently and without fatigue.

It promotes good aging and longevity, as there will be improved bone density and muscle mass, helping prevent issues like osteoporosis and loss of mobility as you grow older, while reducing the risk of life-threatening conditions.

It helps one to age well, as physical fitness improves bone density and muscle mass, helping prevent issues like osteoporosis and loss of mobility as you grow older, allowing for a more active and independent lifestyle in later years.
