After spreading love and kindness at The Salvation Army Akai Children’s Home, Akai Ubium, the Nigerian Super Eagles Captain, William Troost-Ekong headed to the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium training pitch to inspire the next generation of football stars.
He joined the match between Island Stars Football Academy and Full Life Football Academy, playing for both teams in the rain and scoring a fantastic goal.
But more importantly, he motivated the young players to chase their dreams and become who they want to be!
And as a token of appreciation, he was presented with a beautiful portrait by Cyril Udo, a 300L student, Fine and Industrial Art, University of Uyo.
The smiles on the children’s faces say it all!
